If knowledge is embedded in the land, every territory brings discoveries that force us to rethink our ideas, concepts, and practices. The high level of activity over the last decade in the little-explored terrains of Eeyou Istchee James Bay has given rise to several new ideas that challenge established paradigms in Abitibi: genetic models, prospective environments, and exploration methods and strategies. This series of talks gives an overview of the innovative discoveries made by the industry and by academia in metallogeny and gold exploration, across Québec’s different contexts.
