Silvain Rafini has been a grant-funded research professor at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi since 2018 and a researcher at the Consortium de recherche en exploration minérale (CONSOREM) since 2009. A structural geologist and hydrogeologist by training, he conducts research on metallogeny, mineral exploration, and hydrogeology of fractured rock environments.
