Jérôme Lavoie

Jérôme Lavoie is a geological engineer with more than 25 years of experience in mineral exploration. He has a master’s degree in economic geology from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. He was a researcher at CONSOREM from 2016 to 2021. Since 2023, he has been working with the metallogeny team in the Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts’ Direction de l’acquisition des connaissances géoscientifiques. He is responsible for the Eeyou Istchee James Bay territory—and he loves it!
