International Visitors
First verify whether you are eligible to travel to Canada. Then apply for a visitor visa by visiting the Government of Canada website.
If you need to provide an official letter of invitation to obtain a visa, you must first register for the Québec Mines + Énergie Conference. It is your responsibility to contact the conference organizers to request an official letter of invitation, specifying the dates of your stay. You may contact the organizing committee by email : QcMinesEnergie@mrnf.gouv.qc.ca. Registration fees will not be refunded if the Government of Canada refuses your visa application.
The letter of invitation does not constitute a financial obligation for the organizers; all costs inherent to the participation in the conference are the sole responsibility of the participant.
We recommend that you apply for your visa as early as possible, as it can take several weeks to process.
The decision to issue or refuse a visa is the responsibility of the Government of Canada. Québec Mines + Énergie cannot intervene in the process.
Visit the Government of Canada website for more information on requirements for international visitors.
