This panel will highlight the tangible impact of the Podium Mines program on the mining sector, as well as the improvement projects carried out by participating SMEs. Discussions will focus on gains in competitiveness, productivity, and the ability to meet the requirements of mining companies. Panelists will also present the initiatives implemented to kick-start their digital transformation.
SMEs involved in the program will share their experiences alongside the Québec mining companies that supported them in their continuous improvement efforts. To date, 12 Québec mining companies have referred suppliers to the initiative, actively contributing to strengthening Québec’s mining ecosystem.
The panel will conclude with a recognition ceremony honoring the commitment of the participating SMEs. A total of 30 Québec SMEs from the mining sector will be invited to receive a plaque recognizing their participation in the program.
