Martin Loiselle

Martin Loiselle holds a master’s degree in Land Use Planning and Regional Development from Université Laval. He also completed part of his academic training abroad in a few places, including at the University of Guanajuato, in Mexico. His professional career began in 2009 as an economic development officer. Later, he was the coordinator at the Nordic Entrepreneurship Centre. In 2015, he took up the challenge of contributing to setting up the Eeyou Istchee Baie-James regional office of the Société du Plan Nord (Société), where he worked as a business development advisor. In 2018, he moved back to the Société’s head office in Québec City to work as the Executive Assistant in the Business Development Office. Recently, he has accepted new duties as coordinator for maximizing economic benefits. Thus, he has more than 15 years of experience in economic development in the northern territory.
