Mine reclamation of older sites: Today’s Requirements

This session will explore the challenges associated with the reclamation of mining sites that began operations at a time when the design criteria did not meet current environmental standards. It will also examine the problems related to the lack of historical information and aging infrastructure. Using case studies, the focus will be on integrating innovative strategies to reconcile the constraints inherited from the past with the current regulatory requirements.
