Quebec’s Circular Economy Roadmap 2023-2028 and its most recent implementation plan 2025-2028 are coordinated by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks (MELCCFP). The mining sector and the issue of critical and strategic minerals make up one of the 5 priority areas of Quebec’s strategy to increase its circularity rate.

The aim of this session is therefore to present, in a short conference, the actions that Quebec is implementing to improve the circularity of the mining sector, particularly on the issue of critical and strategic minerals. Secondly, the session will provide an opportunity to bring together various international players affected by circularity in the mining sector for a panel discussion, and to share some best practices on this issue.

This session will be available in both French and English.
