Mme. Fabbri will present an overview of the European Union’s Renovation Wave initiative, which aims to double renovation rates over the next 10 years, and how a newly approved regulatory framework (that covers renewables, energy efficiency and building energy performance) will contribute to supporting this target.

The presentation will also touch upon the unique context of the EU and the impact on its regulatory approach, in contrast to the regulatory context in Quebec and how it affects local opportunities for energy savings initiatives.
