Conditions relating to the Sainte-Marguerite reserve
The Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles is authorizing mineral exploration in the Sainte-Marguerite Reserve under certain conditions.
- Exploration work must not hinder the operation and sustainability of current Hydro-Québec infrastructures.
- If necessary, Hydro-Québec is reserving the right to modify management of the rivière Sainte-Marguerite and to set additional conditions.
- For land located near the Sainte-Marguerite 3 dam, the mining rights holder must make sure that vibrations from blasting will have no effect on Hydro-Québec facilities.
- Any work requiring machinery within a 22.5 metre radius of the Arnaud-SM 3 transmission line and within the limits of the transformer station must be the subject of a special request to Hydro-Québec, to the attention of:
