Trafigura Mining

Zied Tebaibi, a member of the Ordre des géologues du Québec, has more than 20 years of experience in the mining industry, covering exploration, mine site rehabilitation, mine geology, resource and reserve estimation, and operational and strategic management of mining sites. Currently director of the Langlois and Bouchard-Hébert sites at Trafigura Canada (Québec), he is responsible for environmental restoration, budget planning and mining asset management. He also provides technical support for other group sites, in particular for the revision of geological models, mining plans and resource estimates.

Prior to this, Mr. Tebaibi worked for over 12 years at Nyrstar Canada, where he successively held the positions of chief geologist, mining operations manager and asset manager at the Langlois Mine. There, he managed the production geology, drilling and exploration teams, participated in the preparation of resource estimates and actively contributed to the optimization of mine production and the long-term planning of operations.
