Sylvain Trépanier

Exploration Midland

Sylvain Trépanier holds a bachelor’s degree in geology, a master’s degree in earth sciences and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and software engineering from UQAM. He was a researcher for the CONSOREM from 2004 to 2012, carrying out research projects focusing on the geochemistry of rocks and the secondary environment, the use of artificial intelligence in exploration and the development of computer tools for exploration. From 2012 to 2016, he worked at Virginia Mines and Osisko Gold Royalties as a research geologist. He has been a geologist at Midland Exploration since 2016, while once again working with the CONSOREM as a research associate.
