Suzie Poirier

Suzie Poirier has over 20 years of experience working in the environmental field, primarily within the mining, petroleum, and industrial sectors. She is currently director of Environment at Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium, where she contributes to the sustainable transformation of operations.
Ms. Poirier holds a master’s degree in environment from the Université de Sherbrooke and a bachelor’s degree in forestry from the Université de Moncton. Over the course of her career, she has held positions of responsibility at Teck Resources, Canadian Natural Resource, Enbridge and TransCanada, where she managed large-scale projects and ensured compliance with environmental requirements.
