Stéphane Johnson
Prior to joining TRIOX as a Senior Technical Advisor in 2020, Stéphane Johnson worked with the Canadian Response Organization ECRC~SIMEC as Response Centre Manager in the Great Lakes Region. Stéphane was responsible for the overall management of the Centre, including maintaining the Organization’s standards and procedures, training program, and an initial 24-hour incident response capability. Stéphane has responded to over 150 emergencies involving ships, Oil Handling Facility’s (OHFs), pipelines, and rail lines, and has extensive expertise as Operations Section Chief. He participated in the revision of the Canadian Fuels Association’s 2020 Guide to Petroleum Product Spill Response Guidelines for Land Transportation. This guide specifically concerns the establishment of a network of response contractors to respond to a land-based incidents involving petroleum products in the ground transportation sector. Most recently, Stéphane has participated in the revision of emergency response plans and the development of tactical strategies for mines in the far north and gas pipelines throughout Canada and the United States, and the update of emergency response plans for several OHFs in Canada.
