Samuel Coulombe

MRNF

Samuel Coulombe obtained a bachelor’s degree in Earth sciences from UQAM in 2021. He then undertook a master’s degree at Université Laval under the supervision of Bertrand Rottier, in collaboration with the Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts. His research focused on the age and source of the magmas that formed the Blanchette-1 showing, an REE-enriched granitic pegmatite dyke containing allanite located in central Grenville. Now a mapping geologist with the MRNF, Samuel has been actively involved in three geological mapping campaigns, including two in the Grenville (Lac de La Fourche and Lac Poulin-De-Courval) and, most recently, on the Salluit and Tuttuquaaluk projects in Nunavik.
