Renaud Soucy La Roche
Mr. Renaud Soucy La Roche holds an MSc in Earth Sciences from UQAM and a PhD in Geological Sciences from Queen’s University. Following a postdoctoral fellowship at the Geological Survey of Canada, he became a professor of structural geology at the Centre Eau Terre Environnement of the Institut national de la recherche scientifique in 2019. His work focuses on metamorphic and tectonic processes operating in the deep and middle crust and their implications for mineralized systems (graphite, REE, gold). Renaud Soucy La Roche has worked in the Himalaya, in the Grenville, Superior and Slave geological provinces, and in the North American Cordillera.
