Normand Mousseau

Normand Mousseau is a professor of physics at the Université de Montréal, scientific director of the Trottier Energy Institute at Polytechnique Montréal and co-scientific director of the Energy Modelling Hub. He is also co-founder and senior transition advisor of the Transition Accelerator. A specialist in the modelling of complex materials, with more than 240 scientific articles to his credit, he has also been working on energy and natural resources issues for the past twenty years. He co-chaired the Commission on Energy Issues in Quebec in 2013-2014 and is the author of a number of books and reports on these issues, including Le défi des ressources minières, published by MultiMondes, and is leading the publication of the Trottier Energy Institute’s Canadian Energy Outlook.
