Nicholas Théroux
With a master’s degree in public administration from the École nationale d’administration publique and a bachelor’s degree in history from the Université de Sherbrooke, Mr. Nicholas Théroux has been a part of the Institut national des mines since 2019. His mandate is to conduct research aimed at better documenting innovations in mining training on a global scale, and he specializes in the analysis of trends likely to have an impact on mining training in Quebec. He authored the report “Engins hybrides et électriques dans le secteur minier au Québec : perspectives, analyses et besoins de formation” (Hybrid and electric machinery in Quebec’s mining sector: outlook, analysis and training needs), published in April 2022, on which he has given a number of lectures.
