Fédération québécoise des municipalités

Me Myriam Trudel has been a lawyer since 1995. She has devoted most of her legal career to well-established law firms in the Québec City region, particularly in the areas of labor relations and litigation.

Since joining the FQM in 2015, Me Trudel has served as Director of the Human Resources and Labor Relations Department, where she supported numerous municipal organizations across the province on a variety of issues, working alongside a team of seasoned professionals. In parallel, she also led the FQM’s Training Department, notably overseeing the first edition of the mandatory ethics training in 2021. That year, the FQM trained nearly 80% of Québec’s municipal elected officials.

As Director of the Energy Performance and Decarbonization Department, she currently oversees the rollout of the ÉcoÉnergie 360 program—an innovative and strategic initiative for the energy-efficient renovation of municipal assets throughout Québec. Alongside her team of professionals and renewable energy consultants, she also supports municipal communities in developing renewable energy projects within their territories.
