Michel Fournier

Michel Fournier is coordinator of energy efficiency at the Ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs (MELCCFP). He oversaw the development of the energy sobriety and efficiency roadmap included in the latest Implementation Plan of the Plan for a Green Economy. He graduated in mechanical engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke in 1989 and is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), LEED Green Associate and Certified Energy Manager. His accumulated experience has enabled him to develop an overall vision based on in-depth knowledge of over 400 buildings.
