Maxime Bouchard

Nuvau Minerals, Laurentia Exploration

Maxime Bouchard holds a BSc in Geology (2011) and an MSc in Earth Sciences from UQAC. His graduate studies led him to begin his career at the Vezza gold mine, south of Matagami. He then honed his industry experience by working for Xstrata/Glencore for more than 3 years on the exploration of zinc massive sulphides in the Matagami mining camp. In 2017, Mr. Bouchard founded Laurentia Explorations with two partners. Since then, he has been involved in carrying out exploration work in Matagami in partnership with Glencore and now Nuvau Minerals. Mr. Bouchard has been building up his experience in this mining camp for 13 years now and has acted as vice-president of Laurentia Exploration since it was founded.
