Maude Lévesque Michaud
Ms. Maude Lévesque Michaud obtained her bachelor’s degree in geological engineering in 2010. She began her career in mineral exploration, where she contributed to prospecting and drilling campaigns with Nemaska Lithium and Ressources Monarques. She completed a master’s degree in mineral engineering in August 2016 at the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT). Her research topic focused on the prediction of mine drainage and geochemical characterization of mine tailings; more specifically, the adaptation of kinetic tests to the prediction of contaminated neutral drainage at the scale of laboratory and field tests. Her training has led her to develop high-level expertise in the characterization of tailings, waste rock and ore. Since 2016, she has worked for Lamont as a mining environment consultant, where she has been managing director since 2024. She has been working with Troilus Gold on geochemical issues since 2020.
