Marie-Eve Pomerleau

Agnico Eagle

Ms. Marie-Eve Pomerleau holds a degree in human resources management from UQAT and was previously communications manager at the North American Lithium mine. Since 2019, she has been working for Agnico Eagle and is responsible for the community relations team at the LaRonde mining complex as assistant superintendent of communications and community relations. She contributed to the implementation of the Good Neighbour framework that came into effect in January 2020 and successfully revised it in 2022.

In 2024, Marie-Eve had the opportunity to share her expertise in community relations with Agnico Eagle’s Australian division, Fosterville Gold Mine, for the development of their Good Neighbour guide.

Marie-Eve is also coordinator for the implementation of the Abitibiwinni cooperation agreement and was involved in the creation of the project to integrate indigenous workers into the LaRonde mining complex, as well as in the employee training aimed at bringing cultures closer together. As a result of this project, she won the Quebec Mining Association’s community relations award in 2024.
