Marianne Huot

ArcelorMittal Exploitation Minière Canada

Marianne has more than 20 years of experience, including 18 years in the mining industry. Before joining ArcelorMittal’s Canadian team, Marianne worked at the company’s headquarters in Luxembourg, where she was involved in evaluating major projects for various mines and steel plants around the world.

She also worked in investment strategy for ArcelorMittal’s global mining segment, supporting different mines. Since arriving at ArcelorMittal Mining Canada, she has held various roles related to strategic investment projects. She then joined the government relations group to assist with project funding, and later became Director of the Government Affairs department.

Committed to the company’s impact on our planet, Marianne was also appointed Head of Decarbonization Strategy in 2021, and Head of Energy Efficiency in 2024.

Marianne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Sydney, Australia.
