Lauriane Déry

Boralex

Lauriane Déry is director of Public and Government Affairs at Boralex, where she leads a team of experts dedicated to ensuring the social acceptability, regulation and market conditions of renewable energy projects in Québec. With over ten years of experience in the energy sector, she has contributed to the development of wind, solar, hydroelectric and storage projects in Québec, Canada and the United States. Strongly committed to social issues, she has been elected chair of the board of Force Jeunesse and is a director of the Québec Association for the Production of Renewable Energy (AQPER). A graduate in public affairs from UQAM and the Harvard Law School negotiation program, she has also worked at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and at TACT, where she developed a keen interest in energy, political and community issues.
