Julien Lampron

Julien Lampron began his career at the Délégation générale du Québec in Paris as advisor responsible for community relations. He then moved to New York, where he worked as a cultural advisor for the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie with the United Nations.During this period, he also worked as a contributor for TVA Nouvelles. Back in Quebec, he became producer in charge of political content for this station. He later served as Communications Director for the Premier, then Deputy Chief of Staff for the Leader of the Official Opposition.

He then took on the role of Director of Public Affairs at Fondaction, the labour-sponsored fund dedicated to financing sustainable development. In addition to helping double the fund’s net assets, he represented Fondaction at numerous international conferences, including the United Nations Climate Change and Desertification Conferences.

He joined ArcelorMittal Mines and Infrastructure Canada in October 2020 as General Manager, then as Vice-President of Corporate Affairs and Strategy.

Julien Lampron holds an MBA in Marketing Management from Pace University in New York, a B.A. in Political Science from Université de Montréal and an undergraduate degree in Law from Université Paris XI.
