Joël Crépeau

With more than 15 years of experience in the mining and industrial sectors, Joël Crépeau is vice-president of Strategy and Innovation at Quebec Iron Ore (MFQ), where he guides technology initiatives and the transformation of operations.
Since joining MFQ in 2017, he has held various leadership roles in innovation and engineering, including technical director and superintendent of Projects and Innovation, heading up major projects in Fermont and Montréal.
He previously worked at Eddyfi Technologies as an applications engineer and at Cliffs Natural Resources on continuous improvement projects. He has a degree in biophotonics from Université Laval and combines scientific rigour with a strategic vision and a passion for industrial innovation.
