Jeffrey Vaillancourt

Mr. Vaillancourt has been working in the scientific field for over 20 years. With an MSc in Earth Sciences and a DESS in Environmental Management, he has solid experience in research and training. Over the course of his career, he has worked as a research and planning officer at UQAM, where he developed his skills in scientific report writing and project management, as well as his knowledge of the mining world. He has served as a research officer at UQAM’s mineral resources laboratory, for the UQAT-UQAM Research Chair in Mining Entrepreneurship, and for the Institut National des Mines, among others.

At O3 Mining, Mr. Vaillancourt holds the position of ESG Manager. He was responsible for implementing the ECOLOGO certification and ensures that it is respected. He supports O3 Mining teams and service providers in applying ESG best practices.
