Jean-Sébastien David
Jean-Sébastien David is currently CEO of NioBay Metals, a company that owns niobium and tantalum properties in Quebec and Ontario. From 2012 to 2021, he was chief operating officer at Arianne Phosphate, owner of the Lac à Paul apatite mine project authorized by the Government of Québec in early 2016. Previously, he was vice-president of sustainable development for the Osisko Mining Corporation from 2007 to 2012. He also worked for the mining companies IAMGOLD and Cambior, where he was general manager of environment. He also worked as environmental manager for Louisiana-Pacific Canada for 5 years. He began his career at Nutrinor in 1993.
Mr. David holds a bachelor’s degree in geology and a master’s degree in project management from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. He is a member of the Ordre des géologues du Québec.
