Jean-Marc Lulin

Mr. Jean-Marc Lulin is a senior mining executive and professional geologist with more than 35 years of experience in North America, Africa and Europe. Since 2003, he has served as President and CEO of Azimut Exploration. Mr. Lulin has positioned Azimut as an avant-garde company, opening vast underexplored regions of Quebec to mineral exploration using innovative technical approaches for a wide range of commodities (Au, Cu, Ni, U, etc.) and mineral deposit types. He designed AZtechMineTM, a proprietary expert system for mineral exploration targeting. Prior engagements include President and COO for Channel Resources, Chief Geologist for SOQUEM and the Vior-Mazarin Group, and Geologist for BRGM. He played an active role in the initial wave of mining exploration in Burkina Faso during the 1990s and was instrumental in the discovery of several deposits in Quebec and Africa. Mr. Lulin graduated in Earth Sciences from Paris VI University (Sorbonne, France) and earned a PhD in Economic Geology from Université d’Orléans (France).
