Jean-Marc Lulin

Azimut Exploration

Jean-Marc Lulin is a geologist with 40 years of international experience in the mining industry in North America, Africa and Europe.

Since 2003, he has been president and CEO of Azimut. In this position, he helped open up vast regions of Québec to exploration for a wide range of metals (gold, copper, nickel, uranium), based on innovative targeting methodologies and the development of partnerships. He designed AZtechMine TM, an expert predictive modelling system applied to mining exploration.

He previously held the positions of president and chief operating officer of Channel Resources, chief geologist at SOQUEM and Groupe Vior-Mazarin, and geologist at BRGM.

He was president of the AEMQ in 2012. Since 2019, he has been chairman of the FCCQ’s Natural Resources and Land Development Committee and a member of the AMQ’s board of directors.

Jean-Marc holds a doctorate in economic geology from the Université d’Orléans (France).
