Isabelle Dumais

Isabelle Dumais, liaison and partnership coordinator, Société de protection des forêts contre le feu (SOPFEU).

Ms. Isabelle Dumais has been a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs forestiers du Québec since 2001. She held various positions in the field of forestry, working on strategic infrastructure planning and partnership establishment with First Nations. Before her arrival at SOPFEU, she held the position of Wildfire Coordinator at the ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts (MRNF), which allowed her to play an operational and strategic role in facing wildfire as a natural hazard. Since May 2024, she coordinates the Liaison and Partnership Service at SOPFEU. Her department aims to reinforce ties between partners and upgrade the operational capacity of SOPFEU in terms of auxiliary workforce.
