François-Olivier Galarneau

An economist by training and a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, François has worked at Hydro-Québec for nearly 10 years, where for the past year he has headed a team dedicated to producing market intelligence specific to industrial sector customers and developing Hydro-Québec’s vision for this clientele.

François also held the position of Head of Business Practices and Commercial Expertise for nearly 4 years in the Business Development and Major Customers division, responsible for relations with Hydro-Québec’s large-power customers.

For over 10 years, he also held various senior analyst positions covering a wide range of aspects in a variety of companies, from banking and management consulting to manufacturing, in Quebec, Europe and the United States.
