Eugénie Asselin

Corem

Eugénie Asselin has been an artificial intelligence and vision researcher at Corem since 2025. Holding a master’s degree in artificial intelligence from Université Laval and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, she first worked as a data scientist before joining Corem, gaining solid practical experience in applied research and development. Her work focuses primarily on computer vision (segmentation, classification and image processing) as well as machine learning (clustering, causal analysis and predictive modelling using multimodal data). At Corem, she applies her expertise to optimizing ore treatment processes, whether designing vision systems or identifying levers for industrial process improvement through data analysis. She pays particular attention to methodological rigour and machine learning operations (MLOps) practices to ensure the robustness, reproducibility and traceability of her work.
