Erin Powell

With over 16 years at the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC), Erin Powell is a leader in industrial innovation and sustainable process development. As Director of Strategic Initiatives and Business Development, she drives partnerships and projects focused on advancing clean technologies and emissions reduction across the energy and mining sectors.

Previously, Erin managed SRC’s Process Development and CeDER (Centre for the Demonstration of Emissions Reductions) programs, overseeing multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists dedicated to developing and optimizing processes for renewable fuels, ore commodities, and decarbonization technologies.

Her work bridges research, industry, and environmental performance, helping transform innovation into measurable impact for a more sustainable resource economy.
