Édouard Côté-Lavoie has been an exploration geologist for 10 years and more recently a lecturer in applied geochemistry at UQAC. Geologist by training, he participated in the discovery and definition of the Lynx deposit and in the advancement of the Windfall project from the acquisition of Osisko Mining to the feasibility study and he now holds the position of senior geologist at Gold Fields. During his career he developed interests in geochemistry, geological interpretation and geometallurgy. Involved since 2020 on the scientific management committee, he actively participates in CONSOREM activities (in addition to collaborating on certain projects) and actively promotes them to students and his colleagues in industry.
