Cristina Cismasu
Cristina Cismasu is a geochemist with over 16 years of experience in research and consulting. She holds a doctorate in environmental geochemistry from Stanford University in the United States and a master’s degree in mineralogy from the University of Hamburg in Germany. Her research projects have focused on biogeochemical processes related to the interaction of metals with minerals and organic matter, and she has acquired extensive skills in the characterization of environmental materials. As a geochemist working for the mining sector, she implements rigorous geochemical characterization programs on mining materials at all stages of a mining project – from preliminary design, through pre-feasibility, to final site remediation.
