Christophe Aura

Christophe Aura is Senior Advisor, Government Affairs and Decarbonization Strategy at ArcelorMittal Mining Canada since January 2022. Before joining ArcelorMittal, Christophe spent 5 years in a public affairs firm, specializing in ecological and social transition. This experience has led him to participate in various projects in the fields of sustainable mobility, responsible finance, land protection, clean technologies and more. Christophe also worked at Global Affairs Canada in international development. In parallel with his professional activities, he maintains several implications within the Montreal community. He is a volunteer co-director for the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montreal’s Public Affairs Committee and an appointed member of the Société de développement commercial Hochelaga-Maisonneuve’s Board of Directors.
