Catherine Crotty
Ms. Catherine Crotty works at Winsome Resources as the resident geoscientist, where she coordinates all research on the company’s deposits and oversees analyses and analytical methods. She has exploration experience in both gold and lithium, having previously worked at Wallbridge Mining and ALS GoldSpot Discoveries. Catherine is an expert in supracrustal belts, specializing in combining geochemistry and petrology. She completed her PhD at McGill University, focusing on Archean and Paleoproterozoic supracrustal belts, and her M.Sc. at the University of Copenhagen, where she studied Miocene to Pliocene arc volcanism in the Southern Volcanic Zone of Argentina and Chile. Prior to that, she earned her B.Sc. in Geology at UCD Dublin, where she worked on foreland fold and thrust belts in the Cantabrian Mountain belt, NW Spain.
