Mr. Benoît Plante obtained a B.Sc. in Chemistry (U. de Montréal, 2000), an M.Sc. in Mineral Engineering (Polytechnique Montréal, 2004) and a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences (UQAT, 2010). He has been a professor at RIME-UQAT since 2011, and has held the Institutional Chair in Environmental Geochemistry of Critical and Strategic Mineral Resources since 2020. Mr. Plante has been RIME’s Scientific Director since this autumn.
