Benoit Lafrance

Benoit Lafrance is Director of CONSOREM and Associate Professor at UQAC. In addition to being a CONSOREM researcher, he has held positions as geologist with Géologie Québec and as geologist and vice-president of exploration for junior mineral exploration companies in Quebec. He is a specialist in Abitibi metallogeny, volcanogenic massive sulfides and critical and strategic minerals. Benoit is also Director of the Table régionale de concertation minière du Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean and sits on the Board of Directors of SIDEX.
