Benoit Lafrance

Mr. Benoit Lafrance is the Director of CONSOREM and an adjunct professor at UQAC. In addition to being a CONSOREM researcher, he has held the positions of Geologist at Géologie Québec, and Geologist and Vice-President Exploration for junior mineral exploration companies in Quebec. He is a specialist of the Abitibi metallogeny, volcanogenic massive sulphides, and critical and strategic minerals. Mr. Lafrance is also Director of the Table régionale de concertation minière du Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean and sits on the Boards of Directors for SIDEX and the Saguenay Chapter of CIM.
