Anne-Sylvie André-Mayer

Anne-Sylvie André-Mayer (Full professor in Economic Geology) is the current head of the GeoRessources research Center (Université de Lorraine-CNRS) at Nancy-France. She has strong experience in economic geology worldwide, focusing on Proterozoic mineral systems, especially (i) through the AMIRA WAXI international project that deals with gold mineral system in West Africa since 2006, and (2) several projects dealing with U-REE-Nb-Ta-Li mineral systems. She supervised 16 PhD theses (four still running) and around 50 Master theses. She leads, since 2023, the mineral resources education program at the National School of Geology, and is involved in the “Ecole Abitibi”, a student exchange program developing mineral exploration skills with UQAT since 2011.
