Ms. Ann Lamontagne is a civil engineer and has a doctorate in mining engineering where she studied the management of waste rock and mine tailings that generate leachable acid mine drainage. For more than 25 years, she has worked exclusively in the field of mining environment and mining geotechnics. She mainly works in the development and enhancement of mining projects, where she is involved in the management of water and mining waste. She works to maximize the integration of projects into their environment from construction to closure. She has participated in numerous geochemical characterizations of mining waste with a view to their containment, as well as studies predicting the quality of mining effluents. For 15 years, Ms. Lamontagne has been increasingly involved in the authorization processes for mining projects, including basic environmental studies and environmental and social impact studies. She is currently Vice-President Environment and Sustainable Development for Osisko Metals.
