Alice Friser

Alice Friser is an associate professor in the Department of Administrative Sciences at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. She holds a doctorate in business administration and a master’s degree in environmental sciences. Her research interests include organizational social responsibility, social acceptability issues, and the trajectories of socio-technical controversies. Winner of the 2020 prize for Best Thesis from the Association internationale de management stratégique, she currently works with the Centre de recherche en droit public (Université de Montréal), the Researchers in Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development group (UQAM) and the InterSectoral Flood Network of Québec. She directs the Apprendre de la controverse collection at the Presses de l’Université du Québec and is an associate editor of a number of peer-reviewed journals, including the Revue Internationale de cas en gestion, the Revue de l’Organisation Responsable and the Revue internationale de psychosociologie et de comportements organisationnels.
