The aim of the workshop is to raise participants’ awareness of the importance of lithium as a critical metal for the energy transition, and of the potential role that Quebec can play in this field in the global socio-economic context. The focus will be on the exploration, recovery and processing of this raw material in pegmatite mineralizations. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about examples of projects underway in Quebec. The workshop will also focus on the province’s efforts to promote good environmental practices and to foster innovative technologies for processing and recycling materials.
