Yves Richelle

Yves Richelle is co-founder and CEO of DAMÉCO. Yves holds a PhD in economics from the University of Namur in Belgium. At DAMÉCO, Yves is responsible for the development of the Hercule suite of models, as well as for the scientific content of the mandates entrusted to the company. Yves is also recognized by the Régie des Marchés Agricoles et Alimentaires du Québec as an expert in econometric analysis and the analysis of strategic market behavior.

In addition to his activities at DAMÉCO, Yves is a retired lecturer at the Université de Montréal and the Université de Sherbrooke, and has published scientific articles in various fields. In the past, he also worked as a consultant for the Ministère des Finances du Québec, responsible for (i) the design and development of the Prévision et Analyse de Politiques Économiques (PAPE) model, and (ii) the training of the department’s team and supervision of the work carried out by this team as part of the model’s development.
