Younès Bareha

UQTR

Younès Bareha is a researcher specializing in bioprocesses for bioenergy production and holds a PhD from Université Rennes 1. Throughout his academic career, he has studied biological methane production processes, focusing on maximizing the value of their outputs and promoting greater material circularity.

Currently at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), he continues his research on residual material recovery processes and the use of their outputs to support the sustainable development of communities.

Committed to putting science at the service of decision-makers, he also serves as Chief Scientific Advisor to the Municipality of Deschambault-Grondines, supporting the municipality in its efforts to transition its industrial park toward an eco-industrial model.
