Yann Camus, a geological engineer who graduated from Polytechnique Montréal in 2000, specializes in mineral resource estimation, geostatistics, deposit evaluation, as well as the auditing and verification of mineral resources and reserves on an international scale.

Yann also provides training in resource modelling applied to mining projects, including the use of specialized software.

He has prepared technical reports in French, English and Spanish covering a wide range of mineral commodities. He acts as a Qualified Person (QP) for several types of deposits, including lateritic gold deposits, vein-type gold, silver, copper, zinc and lead deposits, heavy mineral sands, volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) zinc-lead-silver-gold deposits, magmatic rare earth element (REE) deposits, as well as limestone deposits used for cement and lime production.

He currently works as a Mineral Resources Engineer at SGS Canada, where he supports mining companies in the estimation, evaluation and classification of mineral resources in accordance with international standards.
