Vincent Gagnon

Vincent Gagnon joined Énergir in 2025 as the head of RNG strategy and development. He leads a team whose job is to support the growth of the renewable natural gas sector in Québec by addressing strategic issues affecting the sector’s development.

In this role, he leads strategic initiatives related to market development and stakeholder engagement. He works in close collaboration with governments, stakeholders in the energy and agricultural sectors and project developers to foster the growth of RNG supply in Québec.

Before joining Énergir, Vincent worked as a journalist and then spent nearly eight years at NATIONAL advising public, private and association organizations on crisis management, strategic communications and public affairs.

He currently sits on the boards of directors of organizations active in economic development and sustainable development, and has served three terms on the board of directors of a chamber of commerce and a Québec sports federation.
