Thierry St-Cyr

A graduate in engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke, Thierry St-Cyr is President and CEO of InnovÉÉ, an organization that stimulates, supports and finances collaborative research projects in electrical energy.

Previously, Thierry St-Cyr was an engineer at Motorola, a Member of Parliament, Chief of Staff to the Minister of Transports and Minister of Affaires municipales, des régions et de l’occupation du territoire, and subsequently Chief of Staff to the Minister of Ressources naturelles.

He was a founding member of Téo Taxi (Taxelco), a company offering a 100% electric cab service. St-Cyr planned and coordinated the deployment of a fleet of 130 electric cars and a 2MW charging infrastructure.

He was Director of Strategic Development at RER Hydro, Electric Fleet Expert at the Institut du Véhicule Innovant and then head of the Centre d’Innovation et d’Accélération en Mobilité Intelligente de Laval (CIAMIL).

An electromobilist since 2012, St-Cyr is passionate about renewable energies, electric mobility and the French series Kaamelott.
