Stephanie Tremblay

Stephanie Tremblay has been the Manager, Sustainable Development, at the Quebec Mining Association (QMA) for over four years. She oversees the implementation of the Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) initiative by member organizations, providing strategic support, training, and performance monitoring as well as creating specialized tools. She also chairs two key sectoral committees focused on community relations as well as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management systems.

A biologist by training with a master’s degree in environmental sciences, Stephanie has several years of experience in consulting, environmental communication, and science outreach. Working at the intersection of the environment, community relations, and communications, she takes a strategic approach designed to strengthen the social legitimacy and transparency of mining projects.

Her role in transitioning the TSM initiative to the consolidated international standard and her efforts to raise public awareness have helped shape concrete ESG solutions in line with current mining sector and stakeholder expectations.
